About Padooko
Padooko is a multiplayer horse-racing game where you build your own yard, bring your horses on from foal to champion, and ride them yourself in live races. It's an independent game made in Türkiye.
Why Padooko?
Horse racing is one of the oldest sports there is, and the atmosphere of a racetrack is like nothing else: the moment the gates fly open, horses locked together in the straight, the caller's voice rising, a grandstand waiting on a photo finish. Padooko sets out to bring that excitement into a game, seen not from the stands but from the yard and the saddle.
In Padooko you don't watch the race, you ride it. Spreading your stamina, sitting patiently in a rival's draft, saving ground on the turn and kicking at the right moment in the final 400 meters are all in your hands. The horse that wins is the one that was trained right, kept well and entered in the right race. That makes Padooko both a racing game and a breeding game that rewards patience.
One world, one account
Everyone in Padooko plays in the same world: the same race calendar, the same lobbies, the same market, the same season. A horse one player puts up for sale is bought by another, and everyone competes on the same weekly cup table.
All of the game's rules and all of its state live on the server. That means two things:
- Your yard isn't tied to your device. The yard you leave on the web is the yard you'll find on your phone. Padooko plays on the web today; iOS and Android apps are coming soon and will connect to the same yard with the same account.
- Progress is never reset. Seasons close and new ones begin, but your horses and trophies stay with you.
Who is it for?
Padooko is for anyone who loves horse racing and wants to come at it as a player:
- People who want to make progress in short, frequent visits, a few minutes a day,
- People who love the race itself: the riding, the tactics, the final straight,
- People who enjoy long-term planning, breeding a line and collecting,
- People who'd like to pick up the language and the world of real racing while they play.
Padooko isn't a betting game, and there's no betting in it. Doko, the game's money, can't be cashed out. It's free to play; anyone who wants to can buy Doko packs or a Padooko Plus membership.
Our principles
A few principles guide how we build Padooko:
- Fair fields. In every race, horses are matched by power. A new player's foal doesn't break from the same gate as a long-time player's champion. What balances a field isn't money but what a horse can put on the track.
- Paying buys convenience, not wins. Padooko Plus and Doko packs save time and make care easier, but they don't change a horse's power in a race or its limits. The race is still won by the rider's hands.
- Open odds. How often each tier comes out of a crate can be seen in the game before you buy.
- Respect for effort. Progress is never reset. Even if you sell a horse, its line stays in your album; even when a season closes, the trophies stay in the cabinet.
- Players are heard. Complaints, suggestions and bug reports sent from the in-game Support section go straight to the developer, and replies come back inside the game as notifications.
Inspired by real racing
Padooko's language comes from the real racetrack. The way prizes are shared is inspired by how real races split their prize money, the classes and handicap weights by real racecards, and the race calling by classic Turkish racing broadcasts. As you play, you'll also pick up what the going means, why drafting matters or what makes a horse a stayer. If you're curious, the Racing glossary explains these terms one by one.
The horses, jockeys and legend lines in the game are the game's own fiction; they don't carry the names of real horses or people.
A look inside
A quick tour of what you'll find in Padooko:
- Lobbies that are always open in three distance bands, and the season's eight big feature races. See Races.
- A yard where you develop your horses with four workouts, feed, rest and care. See Training.
- Horses in Standard, Noble and Legend tiers; fifteen legend lines and an album. See Legend lines.
- Ten jockeys, gear, breeding and auctions. See Jockeys and Market.
- Races called by a Turkish race caller, and four different cameras.
All the guides start from How to play Padooko. The answer to your question is probably on the FAQ page.
